Most of our projects are focused on disease conditions and less frequently on a general problem, such as blocking protein-protein interactions or substrate selective inhibition of enzymes. Disease-related projects are mainly in multifactorial disease conditions: Cancer, Immune system, Obesity, Diabetes, Hypertension, Anti-viral, Anti-bacterial and Anti-fungal, CNS disorders, Diabetes, Anti-nociceptive, Arteriosclerosis, and more. Other projects deal with Non-hormonal contraceptives, sugar substitutes, and high-energy materials. Most lab members have been mobilized during 2020 to discover anti-SARS-CoV-2 drugs.
